第一届翻译技术研究生学术会议将于2019年3月9日在上海外国语大学虹口校区召开。我们的办会宗旨是：为翻译技术领域青年研究者提供分享研究成果的机会。同学们可以在会上分享关于翻译技术研究的不同想法，展望翻译技术研究的未来。

Conference Theme

       Inroads into Translation Technology Research 

  The Graduate Institute of Interpretation and Translation (GIIT) at Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) has the pleasure to announce Translation Technology Breakthroughs: First Graduate Student Conference in Translation Technology, to be held on March 09, 2019 at Shanghai International Studies University, Hongkou Campus. Our purpose is to provide young translation technology researchers an opportunity to share their research (finished and on-going), exchange ideas and seek future avenues for research. 

    The conference shall cover all aspects of translation technology including but not limited to:

    Translation technology pedagogy

    Translation tool comparison and application

    Specific translation technology tools development

    Machine translation quality assessment

    New skills set for the translation technology age

    CAT tools, Translation memory systems, localization, etc.

    Any other related topics 

Abstract submission

    250-word abstracts (excluding references) are due By January 30, 2019 

    e-mail to Dr. Kizito Tekwa at w1609@shisu.edu.cn 

    with the subject “Abstract Graduate Student Conference”.
